Welcome Dr. Zbigniew Wilczynski
Dr. Zbigniew Wilczynski is a geophysicist who will start his Postdoc position at the Delft University of Technology on November 1, 2025.

Dr. Zbigniew Wilczynski will mainly work on FOC data monitoring outside the casing (Task 2.4). As part of the PUSH-IT project, a 300 m borehole will be drilled, and a fibre-optic cable will be installed behind the casing, with which DAS, DSS, and DTS measurements can be performed. Shallow heat storage will take place over the coming years, and Dr. Wilczynski will work on the acquisition, processing, and (physical) interpretation of those monitoring data.
